I am deeply passionate about literature, creative writing, and education. My teaching approach is calm, empathetic, and patient, prioritising student well-being and building their confidence. I design bespoke lessons tailored to each student’s unique needs, learning styles, and abilities, ensuring they feel supported while
being challenged to reach their full potential.

With over three decades of experience in classroom teaching and private tutoring, I specialise in helping students progress from where they currently are to where they aspire to be.

GCSE

I focus on developing essential skills in reading and writing, working with students to elevate their performance by two or even three grade levels. I provide targeted support for exam preparation, including refining revision techniques, mastering key quotations for the GCSE Literature exam, and crafting high-quality exam responses that examiners love.

I have extensive experience teaching both GCSE and IGCSE syllabuses across major exam boards, including AQA, OCR, and Edexcel. I use ongoing assessments to track student progress and provide regular, detailed feedback to parents, ensuring each student remains on course for success.
